⋅ ABOUT ME ⋅
BIANCA FERNÁNDEZ DÍAZ
When I was a child, I used to walk away without looking back, fascinated by the world around me and always willing to explore it. From a very young age, I satisfied my inquisitiveness by immersing myself in books that allowed me to travel far away. Years later, thanks to diverse scholarships I was granted, I travelled to different countries and I lived there with native families and foreign students. Those travels did not only contribute to my personal growth, but also awakened a special interest for architecture in me.
I studied architecture in the University of Alcalá, obtaining my degree in 2017. Once, during my years as an architecture student, a professor told me with absolute fascination that my sketchbooks were the refuge of a mad man. Despite its chaotic appearance, my drawings give order and sense to my ideas, and they constitute my main design tool. Besides architecture and drawing, I am also passionate about literature and writing. I combined my architecture studies with the study of foreign languages, obtaining the «Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English» [grade A], equivalent to C2 level according to CEFR.Currently, I continue to expand my knowledge of French and German.
I have been working as an architect for over eight years, developing my professional activity from Galicia, Spain. My introvert and calm appearance, contrasts with my restless mind, anxious to learn, create and undertake new projects.
